Terms of Service

Using PataCV

By creating an account or using patacv.co.ke you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian agree for you. You are responsible for your account and for what you put in your CVs.

Credits

• Building a CV and downloading it as a PDF is free.
• AI features use credits. The cost of each action is shown in the app before you use it.
• New accounts get free credits. Free credits expire 30 days after they are given.
• Credits you buy do not expire. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred.
• If an AI action fails, the credits it used are refunded automatically.
• Payments are made once for a pack. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own.

Acceptable use

• Do not put false information in a CV to deceive an employer.
• Do not upload other people's personal data without their permission.
• Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or to get credits you did not pay for.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

AI output

AI can make mistakes. Read everything it writes before you send it to an employer. You are responsible for the final CV.

No promise of a job

We help you present yourself well. We cannot promise interviews or job offers.

Our liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as a missed job opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Your content

Your CVs belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes go to the courts of Kenya.
